Home Groups and First Tuesday

Home Groups

Many people in our fellowship belong to a Home Group. These are small groups that meet in homes in the 2nd and 4th weeks of each month, to study the Bible, encourage each other and pray together. Some groups meet on a Monday; others on Tuesday. A day time group is also available.
Home Groups are relaxed and fun.
In  2009 we had a  periodic relaunch of Home Groups, giving everyone in the church a chance to change groups or join a group.
Contact David White on 020 8650 5344 if you wish to know more. Newcomers are always fitted into groups as they wish.

During 2009 we explored a book of studies we prepared called "Finding God in "The Shack",  a fiction story by William Paul Young,  about a man called Mack who encounters a huge trauma in his life. He goes into a depression or "great sadness". Four years into his depression he encounters God...put another way he has a "spiritual experience".
These studies were great fun, very challenging and people found them valuable and rewarding.

From January to March 2010 we will be exploring the person of Jesus in the gospel of Mark. The idea is that these studies should run alongside our morning sermon series: "Who is this Jesus?"

First Tuesday

At 8pm on the first Tuesday of each month, we meet together to pray, study the Bible and worship God. Sometimes it will be in one of our halls; other times it may be in church. The idea is for us to learn from God's word together and to pray for the life and ministry of our church.
