Home Groups and First Tuesday
Home Groups
Many people in our fellowship belong to a Home Group. These are small groups that meet in homes in the 2nd and 4th weeks of each month, to study the Bible, encourage each other and pray together. Some groups meet on a Monday; others on Tuesday. A day time group is also available.Home Groups are relaxed and fun.
Contact David White on 020 8650 5344 if you wish to know more. Newcomers are always fitted into groups as they wish.
During September to December this year we'll be exploring the Sermon on the Mount.
Last year we explored a book of studies we prepared called "Finding God in "The Shack", a fiction story by William Paul Young, about a man called Mack who encounters a huge trauma in his life. He goes into a depression or "great sadness". Four years into his depression he encounters God...put another way he has a "spiritual experience".
More recently we've looked at aspects of the gospels of John and Mark, and have just finished looking at some psalms.
These studies were great fun, very challenging and people found them valuable and rewarding.
First Tuesday
On the firstTuesday of each month we meet together to pray, study the Bible and worship God. During the autumn we are doing to see how this might work better in homes in an informal setting. There will be a choice of timings too; 2pm in one venue and 8pm in another.More details from Liz on 020 8650 3515
