The Baptism

On 17th June 2007, a week before our 75th Anniversary, we had our first full immersion baptism service at St. John's, Eden Park

Nathanael (10), Louise (17) and Belinda were baptised in a joyful and very well attended service of celebration and thanksgiving.
Nathanael talked of how Jesus became real for him about a year ago and how he committed his life to the Lord.
Louise talked of how she came to faith about a year ago too, at a time when life was tough. Someone had suggested that she talked to God about her problems. One thing led to another and she too came to a personal faith. "It has changed my life" she said.

Belinda has been a Christian for years and is a busy mum with three children. At the time that she made her personal commitment, she never thought to get baptised. She was putting things right today !!
